Evеrу night, twо rеscuеd shеltеr dоgs snооzе nеxt tо еаch оthеr!

Pit bulls Romeo and Damian were rеscuеd together when they were five years old.

When the Nassau County SPCA found the sad puppies, they were starving, dehydrated, and losing weight. Their ribs, spines, and hips were also clearly evident. They were moved right away to the neighborhood veterinary clinic to start getting the treatment they had obviously never received.

The canines were examined by the vets, who found that Romeo had a metal foreign body in his stomach in addition to the other problems. Despite the long road to recovery for both dogs, the abuse and pain they endured did not break their spirits.

Romeo and Damian both need human interaction and have fallen in love with anyone who can aid in their recovery.
They are both incredibly gorgeous, according to Maria Mora, executive director of the Nassau County SPCA, who spoke to The Dodo. “Their specialty is cuddling. However, they will need some instruction to develop better manners.”

Romeo and Damian are quite close and seem to comfort each other as they recover and wait for their ideal forever homes to find them, despite how much they both adore people.

Romeo and Damian frequently want to touch and cuddle up close to one another while they sleep, and it is the nicest thing imaginable.
After they have been medically cleared, which we believe will happen soon, Mora continued, “They will be ready for adơрtion.”

Romeo and Damian have been through a lot, but with the mutual support and love of the rеscuеrs, they are аnxiơus to move forward and seize their second chance.
